Stephen Stone BSc (Hons) Mining Geology, MAusIMM, FAICD
Executive Chairman
Mr Stone graduated with honours in Mining Geology from University of Wales, Cardiff and has since gained considerable operating, project evaluation, executive management and corporate development experience in the international mining and exploration industry.
Now based in Perth, he has lived and worked in Africa for many years and was more recently MD of Castle neighbour, Azumah Resources Ltd, where he led the discovery of a 2.5Moz gold resource and 1.2Moz Ore Reserve at the Wa Gold Project.
Mr Stone is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Brian Thomas BSc, MBA, Grad Cert App Fin Inv, MAusIMM, MAICD, SAFin
Non Executive Director
Mr Thomas is a very experienced Director and Corporate Executive with significant domestic and international resources management experience. In addition, Mr Thomas spent 15 years in the financial services sector with executive roles in corporate advisory, corporate stockbroking, investment banking and banking.
He has more than 35 years of mining and exploration industry experience covering a broad range of commodities from precious, base and battery metals, bulk and industrial minerals, diamonds plus oil and gas.
Mr Thomas graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BSc in Geology and Mineral Economics, the University of Western Australia Business School with an MBA and the Securities Institute of Australia (now FinSIA) with a Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment.

Matthew Horgan
Non Executive Director
Mr Horgan has 13 years’ experience working within major and junior resource companies across a variety of commodities with roles spanning engineering, marketing, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. He is presently Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Perth-based, Tanzania-focused Peak Rare Earths Limited.
Mr Horgan was previously part of the metals and mining team at corporate advisory firm Azure Capital (now part of the Natixis network) where he was a Senior Associate, and prior to that spent nine years at Alcoa where he held a number of roles including Manager of Global Corporate Development and Commercial and Marketing Specialist for Alcoa’s bauxite division.
Mr Horgan holds an honours degree (first-class) in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia where he graduated as a Tracey Horton Scholar. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
